I always called Darrell by that name when I was not addressing him as Sir. He was an inspiration, an honest gentleman, kind at heart and loyal to those whom he loved. Wisdom, selflessness, honesty, integrity, patient and intellectual are all attributes that come to mind without any deliberation or second guessing. Darrell to me brought much needed light into my life that was darkened after the loss of my Father in '02. Darrell truly peaked my interest in the great outdoors. We shared many good times together by boat or Samarai, the latter more bumps and bruises and some unchoice words he cut loose with because I talked him into buying one! I will miss laughing with him but I know he is sitting up above sharing some great stories with those other God-fearing Christians lucky enough to have him in that Spiritual place ---- Heaven is happy to embrace you my friend.
